Day 1 
(Alexandria-Cairo)
Our representative will meet you in Alexandria Port to provide your comfortable transfer to Cairo. After a three-hour-long drive in an air-conditioned vehicle you will head to Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. Your guide will then take you to Saqqara, where the earliest known Egyptian pyramid – the Step Pyramid of Djoser is located. You will eat out and head to your hotel for overnight. (L, D)
 
Day 2 
 (Cairo-Alexandria)
As soon as you finish your breakfast our guide will take you to the Egyptian Museum. Here you will find the largest collection of pharaonic antiquities, including Tutankhamun’s fabulously famous ten-kilogram golden mask and throne, jewelry and precious metal coins, grand statutes and tiny figurines. Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant before heading to Islamic Cairo. The Citadel of Saladin and its alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali are the main highlights of the district. Once in Cairo you can’t miss its oldest area –Coptic. Your guide will escort you to El Muallaqa, the Hanging Church, built into the walls of the Roman fortress of Babylon and Saint Sergius Church, which is believed to be the resting place of the Holy Family. Before leaving this bustling city you’ll get a chance to visit colorful Khan El Khalili Souk. (B, L)
