On the way to Petra is the Mosesquelle. The World Wide Web doesn’t offer much information on this site, and it is also not included in the classical Jordan tours, but for those who wish to see the Spring of Moses should take some time stopping here.
Visiting the Mosesquelle will only take about twenty minutes as the site doesn’t offer much activity. There isn’t much accurate information as to what Biblical significance the spring holds.
Some say that this is the rock that was struck by Moses followed by water flooding out of it. The fact that the rock is inside a building takes away the persuasion that it is in fact that same rock mentioned in the Bible.
If you have ample time, make a stop, the more one gets to see of a country, the better.
