Al-Wadi Water Park
This newly opened public resort doesn’t offer a lot of online information for those seeking it, yet it offers a variety of water games, slides, wave machines and pleasantly landscaped areas. Situated along the Dead Sea it can be found about five hundred meters north of the Convention Center.
One of the reasons the Al-Wadi Water Park gets attention is that families who spend a number of days at the Dead Sea find it nearly impossible to satisfy the children as they don’t have the opportunities to splash in the waters of the Dead Sea without burning eyes and skins from the saltiness of the water. Here kids can play and splash at their hearts content.
At the moment, children’s height are measured and those under ninety five centimeters are admitted free of charge. It makes for such an exciting build up to what lies on the other side of the entrance gates. The slides and water park features are fun for children and adults alike and staff is very welcoming to assist children who attempt the various activities by themselves.
Toilet facilities are well maintained and still very new due to its recent opening. Snacks are available as well as two restaurants that are open from nine in the morning until midnight.
