Burdah Bridge Wadi Rum
The Burdah Bridge in Wadi Rum is literally a bridge formation that was created from rocks. People often risk the climb to walk to the middle of the bridge for amazing photos of themselves and the views of the desert landscape from there.
This particular area is sometimes crowded because it really is one of the highlights of the Wadi Rum desert. Although there is a smaller bridge in the area, most people won’t pass the opportunity to get to the top and be part of a photo standing on top of the highest arch in the desert.
A rest tent at the bottom of the rock formations offers tea and water. If you are a solo traveler, a local would be more than willing to take photos of you and it is quite amazing how well they make use of the various cameras. It simply adds to the appreciation one gains for the Middle Eastern locals.
The Burdah Bridge cannot easily be reached by walking from the campsite. It is recommended to make use of a guide and driver so that you can make the most of the scenery along the way and ensure your safe return to the campsite.
