Day 2 (Tuesday – Jerusalem – New City)

The day starts with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of the Mount of Olives. We also visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Agony. We get to see the Dead Sea Scrolls in the Shrine Museum before visiting the renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem. We also take some time to visit the Holocaust memorial before visiting the village of Ein Karem, which was the birthplace of John The Baptist. Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

Early morning we walked through the Gates of the Old City, which is known as the Jewish Quarter and Western Wall. It is filled with colorful bazaars. We walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Station of The Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. After some free time in Old City, we drive t Mount Zion to visit the tomb of King David, the room of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon we drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity as we pass along the shepherds fields. We return to Jerusalem by evening time. Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
 

Day 4 (Thursday – Beith Shean – Nazareth – Galilee)

After breakfast we leave Jerusalem behind driving north to Jericho, which is the oldest city in the world. Via the Jordan valley, we reach Beit Shean where we visit the Roman City’s ruins. From there we drive to Nazareth where we visit Mary’s well and the Church of Annuciation. Further along we visit Kabala and walk through the mystic alleys of the colony of the artists. We drive to Kibbutz by evening time. Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
 

Day 5 (Friday – Golan Heights – Sea of Galilee)

After breakfast we visit Golan Heights’ Syrian fortifications as well as the Druze villages. We then drive to the shores of the Sea of Galilee until we reach Capernaum where we visit the ruins of the ancient synagogues and Peter’s house. We also visit Tabgha where the miracle of Fish and Bread took place at Mount Beatitude. The day ends with a short tour of Tiberias before we return to Kibbutz. Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
 

Day 6 (Saturday – Acre – Haifa – Tel Aviv)

Early morning we drive west towards Acre to visit the Crusader stronghold and medieval forts. Along to Haifa where we visit the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and Mount Carmel to see an amazing panoramic view of the city of Haifa. As we drive south, we reach Caesarea to visit the Roman Theatre ruins and end our day in Tel Aviv for a short city tour before returning to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

Today you spend the day at leisure exploring the modern city of Tel Aviv with its coffee shops, seashore and beach activities. An optional tour to the Dead Sea is available. (B)
