Islamic Cairo; Quite a fascinating wide area with a variety of Mosques and old houses even the walls! Today will visit “Refaai Mosque” or the Royal Mosque, The building itself is a mélange of
styles taken primarily from the Mamluk period, The building contains a large prayer hall as well as the shrines of al-Rifa'i and two other local saints, Ali Abi-Shubbak and Yahya al-Ansari. “Al Azhar
Mosque” Located at the heart of Islamic Cairo, the Al-Azhar complex, mosque and university, does not only house the oldest university in the world but it is also the place where the graduation black
gowns originated from. The costume worn by students all around the world during their graduation seems to have been inspired by the flowing robes of the Islamic Scholars “graduating” from Al
Azhar. “Amro Ibn El Aas Mosque”, it was the first mosque erected in Egypt and all Africa & “Sultan Hassan Mosque”,  “Gayer Anderson house” an interesting story that house will be telling you,
named after an early-20th century British doctor, John Gayer-Anderson, who restored the two 16th century buildings that now house the museum collection. Gayer-Anderson decorated the rooms in a
