Welcome to Egypt! Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and provide assistance with airport procedures. As soon as all custom formalities are successfully passed, you will be comfortably transferred to your hotel. The free evening will let you relax and get ready for your Egyptian holidays. (No meals included)

Today you are going to explore Egypt’s best-known sights – the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid at Giza. For over 3,800 years the Pyramid of Cheops was considered to be the tallest manmade structure in the world. Our expert guide will accompany you to Giza and then to the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the magnificent treasures of Ancient Egypt, including Tutankhamun’s fabulously famous gold mask. At the end of the day you can enjoy your free time at Khan El Khalili souk, the major bazaar in the Islamic district of Cairo and then return to your hotel. (B)

Day 3 (Cairo - Alexandria)

Get ready for a three-hour-long drive to the north – Egypt’s second largest city Alexandria. This Mediterranean seaport founded by Alexander the Great has a unique ambience and offers tourists a mix of finest modern and ancient architectural samples. You can spend the day exploring the relics of a bygone age, including Pompey Pillar, the only Roman Amphitheatre in Egypt, the Alexandria Library, the Citadel of Qaitbay and more. Before the hotel check-in you will stop for a lunch in a nice restaurant overlooking the sea and enjoy seafood. This night you will spend in one of the best hotels in Alexandria. (B, L)

Day 4 (Alexandria - Siwa Oasis)

In the morning you will take a private air-conditioned minivan that will deliver you to Siwa Oasis in the Western Desert. After a seven-hour-long drive you will check in the hotel and have some rest. The evening and night will be at your disposal. (B, D)

This day will be fully dedicated to oasis attractions – it will start with a tour around Siwa town and then continue at the Mountain of the Dead, Siwa House Museum, the 13th century Shali Fortress and the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, where the Oracle confirmed Alexander the Great as a divine personage and the legitimate Pharaoh of Egypt. After the excursion in the scorching desert heat you can plunge into cool water of Cleopatra’s Bath especially that today’s tour is not yet finished; Gebel Dakrour, a mountain famous for its healing hot sands, is another interesting site to visit. Now it’s high time to return to the hotel, rest and enjoy your free evening. (B, L, D)

Prepare for your adventurous 4x4 jeep safari through the sand dunes deep into the Sahara Desert. After the thrilling ride you’ll get a chance to refresh yourself in the Cold Lake and then head to the fossil area, where you can find ancient oceanic fossils. Before returning to the hotel you’ll be taken to the Olive Press. (B, L, D)

A private air-conditioned vehicle will deliver you back to Cairo. After hotel check-in it is entirely within your discretion what to do – stay at the hotel and rest, walk in the city center or eat out. (B)

Day 8 (Cairo - Luxor)

This morning you will fly to Luxor and check-in your hotel. In the afternoon you will go exploring 4,000-year-old Luxor, evocative site of the ancient city of Thebes and the greatest open-air museum in the world. First you will visit the Karnak Temple Complex, a vast area of temples, chapels, pylons and the Great Temple of Amun, and then take a walk down the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes that connect the Precinct of Mut, the Precinct of Amun-Re and the Luxor Temple. The evening time is all yours, as for night, you will spend it in Luxor hotel. (B)

Be ready for an early start if you want to avoid the heat of the West Bank. As you enter the Valley of the Kings and Queens, you will pass the ancient village of Deir El Medina, the Temple of Madinet Habou and the Colossi of Memnon and then visit the colonnaded temple that was uniquely dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut. The afternoon you will spend on the East Bank at leisure and then return to the hotel for your last night in Luxor. (B)

Today you will be convoyed to Luxor Airport and take your return flight to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
