Summary

Arrival at Cairo International Airport; here our dedicated agent will meet and assist you through all airport formalities. After passing the customs Lady Egypt representative will take you to the selected hotel so you can enjoy your first evening and night in Cairo. (No meals included)

Day 2 (Cairo - Pyramids)

Take your time to have a breakfast and a very relaxing morning before heading to the impressive Pyramids at Giza – home to the Pyramids of Cheop, Chephren and Mykerinos along with the timeless, enigmatic Sphinx. Here you can ride a camel and take a few classic photos with the only surviving to our days Wonder of Ancient World at your background! In the evening you will take a sleeper train to Luxor. (B, D)

You will arrive in Luxor early in the morning and start exploring this ancient city. First of all, you will pay a visit to the stunning Karnak and Luxor temples. Built over 1500 years, Karnak is a confusion of pylons, courtyards, halls and sanctuaries. The Great Hypostyle Hall of Karnak has 134 columns which are 23 meters in height and 15 meters in circumference! You can return to the hotel and have some rest before heading to the Mummification Museum, which is an interesting sight for both – children and adults. (B, D)

After breakfast you will cross the river Nile to the West Bank, where you will see the famous Valley of the Kings, the place which has the tombs of the powerful rulers of the New Kingdom. The best known tomb is Tutankhamun's which was discovered in 1922. Then you will go to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari. The next stop will be the Colossi of Memnon. If there are children travelling with you, we can include a donkey ride for them. In the afternoon you will get a chance to have some rest before experiencing unforgettable felucca ride, which is the best way to explore the Nile, the longest river in the world. (B)

Day 5 (El Gouna)

The ancient Egyptian sites will be left behind this morning as you travel along the Nile Valley to Qena. You will then turn into the Eastern Desert and drive through a dramatic range of mountains to the Red Sea coastal resort of El Gouna. The total distance you will cover today is about 300 kilometers, which will take you approximately 5 hours. (B, D)

El Gouna is a small resort on the Red Sea coast with amazing multicolored reefs, coral islands and beautiful beaches. Enjoy your free day in this paradise on Earth; you can spend it in your hotel which has a nice pool or walk to the beach located nearby, or join an optional full-day snorkelling trip to a coral island and reefs and have your lunch of salad and fish freshly cooked on board. (B, D)

Day 7 (Hurgada - Cairo - Egyptian Museum)

A short domestic flight will bring you back to Cairo. In the afternoon you will visit the Egyptian Museum located in the downtown. Here you will discover fabulous treasures of Ancient Egypt that will let you learn deeply of Egypt's impressive past. (B, L)
