Our representative will meet you in your hotel in Cairo and take you for an excursion to Giza, where you can visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which was considered the tallest manmade structure in the world for over 3,800 years. You will then move to the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. Your guide will then take you to Saqqara, where the earliest known Egyptian pyramid – the Step Pyramid of Djoser is located. Before heading to Memphis that was Egypt’s capital during the Old Kingdom you will have lunch at a local restaurant. The ruins of the city along with Giza Pyramids are included to the list of World Heritage Sites. In this open-air museum you will find the Statue of Ramses II, remains of the Palace of Apries, alabaster Sphinx and ruins of the Temple of Hathor. (L)
