Day 1 (Aswan)
Lady Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and transfer you to the 5-star Nile cruise boat before the lunchtime. Today you will visit the High Dam constructed between 1960-1970 in order to protect the city from floods, generate hydroelectricity and irrigate agricultural fields. You will then proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk ordered by Queen Hatshepsut and carved out of bedrock. This unique example of ancient Egyptian stonework is the largest ancient obelisk. From here you will move to Agilkia Island, where the Philae Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis is currently located.  Originally, the temple was situated near the First Cataract of the Nile River, though in 1902 when the construction of the Old Aswan Dam started, the area was flooded and the complex was relocated. You will overnight on board a cruise ship in Aswan. (L, D)

Day 2 (Aswan-Luxor)
In the morning you will set sail for the unusual double Temple of Kom Ombo constructed during the Ptolemaic Dynasty with some additions made in the Roman era. Have lunch on the board of the ship and continue your trip to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the falcon God Horus. Late in the evening you will reach Luxor, a city rich with ancient monuments and history of some 4,000 years. The dinner will be served on board a cruise ship. (L, D)

Day 3 (Luxor)
After breakfast your guide will take you to the West Bank, where you will visit the Valley of the Kings with numerous tombs and chambers. Move to the Valley of the Queens and explore the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the Sun God Amun-Re. Another highlight of this day is the Colossi of Memnon, massive twin statues depicting the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled Egypt from 1386 to 1349 BC. Have your dinner on board and enjoy the evening. (B, L, D)

Day 4 (Luxor)
Today you will explore two fabulous temples. At first, you will head to the Karnak Temple Complex, a vast area of temples, chapels, pylons and the Great Temple of Amun. This large open-air museum was once named Ipet-isut, which means "the most selected of places". Its construction began in the Middle Kingdom (2000-1700 BC), though the majority of the existing buildings date back to the New Kingdom (1500-1000 BC). The complex is housing the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 giant columns. The next stop will be at the sandstone Luxor Temple built by Amenhotep III and completed by Tutankhamun; Ramses II made some additions. (B)
