Day 1 (Cairo)
Welcome to the Land of Pharaohs! Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and provide assistance with airport procedures. As soon as all custom formalities are successfully passed, you will be comfortably delivered to your hotel by a modern air-conditioned vehicle. The free evening will let you relax and get ready for your Egyptian holidays. (No meals included)
Day 2 (Cairo)
Start your day at Giza, exploring Egypt’s main and the most famous sight – the Great Pyramid of Khufu. For over 3,800 years it was considered the tallest manmade structure in the world. Our expert guide will tell you the history and tales related to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Move to Saqqara, where the first Egyptian pyramid was built. The construction of the Step Pyramid of Djoser was completed in 2648 BC. The evening is at your disposal. Spend the night in Cairo hotel. (B)
Day 3 (Cairo)
Head to the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the magnificent treasures of Ancient Egypt, including Tutankhamun’s fabulously famous golden mask and throne, jewelry and precious metal coins, grand statutes and tiny figurines. Then your guide will take you to the Islamic areas of Cairo, where the Citadel of Saladin housing the majestic alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali is situated. Afterwards you will head to Coptic Cairo to visit one of the oldest churches in Egypt – El Muallaqa (the Hanging Church) located above the gatehouse of Babylon Fortress built by the Romans. The next stop will be at Saint Sergius Church, which is said to be the resting place for the Holy Family during their flight from Israel. At the end of the day you can go shopping to Khan El Khalili, the major souk in the Islamic bazaar district. You will spend another night in Cairo hotel. (B)
Day 4 (Cairo - the Bahariya Oasis)
Set off for the Bahariya Oasis on a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. In approximately four hours you will get to the hotel, where you can freshen up, have your lunch and get ready for a local tour of the Bahariya Oasis, visiting its numerous therapeutic hot and cold springs, Gebel al-Ingleez (the English Mountain), Gebel Dist (the Pyramid Mountain) and the impressive Oasis Museum. Overnight Baharia Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 5 (The White Desert)
Today you will travel by a 4x4 air-conditioned vehicle to visit the Temple of Alexander the Great. Built during Alexander's reign, the temple was dedicated to Egyptian Gods Amun and Horus. Move to the Tombs of the Nobles and then proceed to the spectacular White Desert. En route you will visit the sand dunes, the Swiss Tomb, the Black Mountains and the Black Desert. Set up a camp for the starlit night in the White Dessert, one of the most beautiful areas in Egypt. (B, L, D)
Day 6 (Cairo)
After your lunch in the middle of the desert, you will drive back through the vast arid Western Desert and return to the multifarious chaos of Cairo. Check-in the hotel and enjoy your evening. You will spend the night at Cairo Hotel. (B)
Day 7 (Cairo)
Our agent will take you to the Cairo International Airport for your final departure. (B)
